CANTAFFORDANOTHER, a 2-year-old filly by INTIDAB, proved she was ready to start her racing career taking this 5 1/2-furlong Maiden Special Weight at Arlington on July 31 in her first career start.

Hustled to the lead from the start out of post three, CANTAFFORDANOTHER battled with a rival on the turn, then shook off that one to be in front by four lengths at the top of the stretch, then cruised to the wire for a 2 1/4-length victory.

CANTAFFORDANOTHER is out of the multiple Santa Anita-winning Rainbow Blues (Ire) mare, Blue Cay. She was bred by Monte V. Hehnke and races for Seven Arms Stable.

KEEWATIN ICE, another 2-year-old filly by INTIDAB, also started her racing career of right by taking this five-furlong Maiden Special Weight at Canterbury Park on July 31 in her career debut.

Breaking a little tardily at the start, KEEWATIN ICE circled her rivals three wide through the turn, steadily gained on the leaders in the final stretch drive and drew clear late to win by two lengths.

KEEWATIN ICE, out of the multiple allowance-winning Wolf Power (SAf) mare, Moon Singer, is a homebred for Camelia J. Casby.
